Fun build, looks great

I picked up the Pikachu Sculpture a few weeks ago. Had some free time and it looked cute. The instructions were digital, which was fine, a bit different than what I'm used to. It wasn't too hard to put together, just took a while. Ended up looking really good on my shelf. Shipping was standard, nothing crazy fast but not slow either. Happy with it.

Consistent quality, reliable service

This was my third time ordering from Bricker Builds. I got the Captain America Shield this time. Like my previous orders (the Iron Man Helmet and a Lightsaber Replica), the quality of the instructions was excellent, and all the parts were there. I've never had an issue with missing bricks or anything. They always ship pretty fast, usually within a week, which is good. Their kits are a bit more challenging than regular LEGO sets, but that's why I keep coming back. They're reliable and the finished models are always impressive. I already have my eye on the Hylian Shield for my next project.

They're pretty involved for sure. I got the Captain America shield and it took me a good few weekends. Instructions are clear though, mostly digital from what I remember.

Depends on the kit really, some are definitely more complex than others. The big ones are challenging but super rewarding once done. Just take your time with it.

Yeah, they use genuine LEGO bricks. They just buy them in bulk, not like they're making their own clones or anything.

For the really big stuff, it can take a while cause they might be made to order or just need special handling. I'd expect at least a couple weeks, maybe more.

My Iron Man helmet kit shipped pretty fast, but that's not life-sized. I think the huge ones probably have a longer lead time, so maybe check their site for an estimate to CA specifically.

Thinking of getting the Master Sword kit, but I've also seen some cool designs on Rebrickable. How do Bricker Builds compare to something like that?

Bricker Builds usually gives you the actual bricks with the instructions, whereas Rebrickable is often just the instructions and you source the parts yourself. Bricker Builds also tends to be more polished as a complete product.

Bricker Builds feels more like buying a 'set'. Rebrickable is awesome for unique MOCs, but then you gotta go BrickLink hunting for all the pieces, which can be a pain and sometimes more expensive.

They're designed to be display pieces, so yeah, they're pretty solid. Lots of internal structure.

My Pikachu model has been chilling on my shelf for months, and it's totally fine. Very stable. You don't have to worry about it collapsing.
